Participating Schools
The schools participating in the project are interested in innovative process of education to achieve better results in the teaching/Learning outcomes using new technology. Both schools are interested in motivating students in developing communicative skills in mother tongue and in foreign languages, problem solving capacity, creativity, team working capacity, etc. There will be two staff and approximately 15 students per year from each school who will take part in all the project's activities and in the exchanges. Activities will look to involve more students and staff from within the school community in order that as many as possible can benefit from the project. The students involved will all be aged 14-15 years old. It is likely that parents will be involved in meetings and organisation and the exchanges themselves by looking after their child's exchange partner. Other teachers from schools will be involved in the planning and teaching of specific lessons related to the project objectives. Students will be involved in all stages of the project. They will be involved in research at local level, planning experiments, development and implementation of practical experimental activities, analysis and dissemination of results obtained and evaluation of the success of the project.
The students will compose a questionnaire for the partner school regarding their knowledge about the partner country to be completed before and after the mobilities.
They will analyse the results together.
The students will be actively engaged in preparing and running the project by:
- competing about the project's logo
- deciding about the means of communication they use with their partners
- suggesting topics and cultural activities for the meetings
- hosting their international partners and introducing them to their families and friends
- evaluating the yearly outcomes of the project to promote further activities
