Choosing a Partner
All the partners involved in the project are interested in an innovative process of education to achieve better results in the learning/teaching outcomes using new technology with AR, apps, QR-codes and mobile devices. Furthermore, all partners are interested in motivating students in developing creativity and problem-solving capacities through STEM subjects. The applicant is a new comer in the Erasmus plus Programme. The Italian partner has experience in several Erasmus plus projects, is a school with laboratories very well equipped and where the teaching/learning process is based on hands on experiences in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Physics, sometimes using CLIL methodology to teach foreign languages. All these will facilitate all partners to do their tasks in time and with very good results. The organisation of the students mobilities will be done in a way to guarantee the achievements of the project’s goals and the impact in the students and organisations will be significant.
The Italian school have been a “pilot school” for the FP7 project called “Ingenious (European Coordinating Body) coordinated by European Schoolnet, one of the teachers was the national coordinator of the pilot schools involved in Ingenious. All partners have experience in the use of digital resources at their school. They have already done some teacher's training in their organizations about digital resources for didactical purposes.
All partners agree with the idea that the “educative apps" enable us to enhance the achievements of traditional learning/teaching aims with digital tools. With this project we want to apply the methods and opportunities by using and developing tools with Augmented Reality, apps and QR-codes to present, explain and motivate students for STEM subjects. This will help increasing the student's motivation, creativity and problem-solving abilities. With this project we want to apply new methods and opportunities by using and developing tools with at school in order to provide new functions to the students, to school and surroundings about STEM and digital resources. This will help by increasing the student's motivation, creativity and problem-solving abilities and will facilitate their integration in the modern society. The experienced partner will support the less experienced partner in all the development of the project and the English partner will support the Italian school with new technologies and Language competences.
